Failed at the one thing it was supposed to do
Let’s start with the EN-6640, the camshaft sprocket locking tool. The one provided with the kit is completely different from the original one, as it’s two identical pieces of plastic that just “lock” together without and retaining screws; this can be seen from the pictures, but the pictures don’t portrait the dimensional accuracy of the tool. Simply put they don’t fall in place when the timing is correct; they don’t fit. It took three hours to set the tool, because at one point I just had enough and started punching it in place.
The real pain however was the EN-6625, the crankshaft locking tool. This thing isn’t a “formal” tool, it must withstand considerable amount of force during the job, namely the crankshaft bolt 95 Nm + 60° of additional turning. The tool however bent inside the engine and by pure luck we managed to pull it out, after an entire afternoon and close to have lost all hope of not having to remove the transmission. Whatever material this thing is, I guarantee you, it’s not steel. You wouldn’t come nowhere close to bend 3 mm of steel as shown in the pictures; it’s some kind of cheap iron, if iron at all.
As much as I’d like a refund, 30€ aren’t worth the pain I had to go through honestly. I see there are quite some kits similar to this, just stay away from this dropshipped stuff it isn't simply worth it.
