I was born in Dagenham Essex 1955, I always did well at art at school , I really excelled in secondary school winning school artist of the year for my painting of a row of back gardens, I won a book about Stonehenge .my art teacher said I was a very slow. which played on my mind so when it came to a career the job adviser said i should do cooking and to go in to hospital catering I never saw that man again, but I did do catering I went to the House of commons, that lead to many great places as a chef. I was always doing art in the back ground , posters and portraits, ads, families and pets. I enter a picture to the royal academy of arts summer exhibition 2012 the picture was called "Darling ,I m home" It showed my wife with a big kitchen knife. My picture was not selected for exhibition maybe i will enter again in the near future. That gave me the idea to sell on ebay I sold it almost straight away , I went on to sell more on eBay and now that I retired Etsy and amazon. Its not a big money making thing just so I can carry on painting with out it costing me any thing and I enjoy it so much. Many thanks to all those people who have purchased my work over the years and for the very positive comments.
