Smell luxurious without the hefty price tag Stella McCartney
As someone extremely picky about scents and perfumes I am hesitant to try something new. But after reading this description: "STELLA, is a homage to the English rose.The refined floral evokes a rose in full bloom in a traditional English garden with a sultry amber contrast. Soft rosy floral top notes drive the fragrance, subtly balanced with sharp, fresh mandarin essence and light peony flower." and what woman doesn't love the smell of roses? With that I decided to order a bottle. Best perfume decision ever! With just 2-3 sprays the sweet scent of pure heaven fills the air and there isn't a fruity smelling after thought to it which is perfect for me. Smelling like a fruit basket is not ideal. The scent lasts for quite sometime that my jackets fill my closet with the scent. Stella is an incredible high class designer so you cannot go wrong with trying this one. I have not tried her other scents to compare because this one is just the absolute best!

The Ghost Map
I actually had to read this novel for my sociology class this semester. To my surprise I found myself turning pages anxiously wondering what was going to happen next. Johnson does an excellent job describing and really re-visting the lives of those in 1800 London. He tends to go off topic at times, but remember each and every detail is very important in revealing the twisted ending. You don't need to understand science, nor have a passion for history, but if you are looking for an easy yet enojyable read this is a great choice.

Split-Jeffrey Stonecash, Mark Brewer (2006)
Split provides an easy to read, fun environment for learning about the nature of parties in politics. This is a great book for someone with little knowledge of how political parties work, their platforms, and ideas. This book really opens up the world of politics, convincing people to believe politics is not boring after all!
