Bought this book as my daughters enjoyed another book by the author Ian Whybrow, I search out others he had written. Like Star Baby and Along Came a Bedtime, this is a lovely book, written brilliantly so it can be read out as a catchy ditty. Both my daughters (5 and 3yrs old) love it and I enjoy reading it to them.

Brilliant book that you don't mind reading again and again for your child
Bought this product as my 3yr old daughter had got it out the library and loved it so much she wanted it read every night and cried when we had to return it to the library, so had to get her a copy to keep. It's a lovely story, really catchy, great pictures and I must admit it's one of the few books she has that I actually enjoy reading again, and again and again. It has also become a fantastic reading book for my other 5yr old as she now is practicing reading it also.

Good book, but The Hungry Caterpiller is definately better
I bought this book as I loved The Hungry Caterpiller by Eric Carle and sought out other books by him, bought this as my daughter loved Ladybirds. Initially I was a bit dissapointed as it is about a ladybird who goes about looking for a fight so I was worried about how my 3yr old would interpret this, however my worries seem unfounded as she enjoyed the book - not her favorite and she much prefers The Hungry Caterpiller
