Quad core Pentium N3700 is definitely faster than the dual core Celeron N3050
Quad core Pentium N3700 is definitely faster than the dual core Celeron N3050 that shipped with my Inspiron 3552.
I received a previously opened package, but new board.
The Dell service tag and model are blank in bios, so they need to be entered manually after install.
I got continuous 5 loud beeps upon powering on indicating RTC battery error.
I had to disassemble again and replace the RTC/CMOS battery... so replace the CR2032 before installing.
The original dell 3552/3452 with the Pentium N3700 shipped fanless, but this board has a fan connector, so heatsink/fan from my old Celeron board was a perfect fit.
After installing the board, load Windows 10, go to Dell support site, and update bios version to 4.4.0
I was able to install Windows 11 without any hacks or registry tweaks.
I just plugged in the USB installer and followed the prompts.
Make sure you use an SSD... HDD's are too slow for Windows 11.
