The hardbound book is beautiful, however it was packaged in a way that allowed it to be damaged in shipping. The book was inserted in two plastic envelopes. Neither envelope was padded. The book was dropped, and landed on a corner during shipping and that caused a tear in the spine loosening the cover. Still usable of course, but a shame to damage such an otherwise beautiful, (and expensive) book due to poor packaging choices.
