Enjoy rich sound without getting tangled in a mess of cables. The Klipsch Gallery G-17 Air sound bar uses Apple’s AirPlay technology to setup a wireless connection to a wide variety of devices. You can get started with little more than an Apple smart device and a Wi-Fi network. Its black finish is sleek and unobtrusive, making it an attractive audio accessory for your home. These Klipsch Gallery G-17 speakers are 17 inches long and weighs 8 pounds. Although this is larger than many speakers for mobile devices, it is significantly smaller than a full stereo. The Klipsch G-17 offers two 10-watt tweeters and two 20-watt woofers, which is a lot of power for its size. The woofers bring through depth in bass frequencies, while the tweeters create sharp and colorful trebel sounds. The speakers include an optional stand and wall mount to raise the speaker for optimal sound. The resulting audio offers the richness of a live concert but does not take up lots of space in your living room. This product is also portable, letting you enjoy great sound in a variety of settings. Set it up outside for excellent music during your annual backyard BBQ or take it on your ski vacation for some fun apres ski tunes. It also makes an excellent accessory for multimedia presentations and home video screenings. The Klipsch Gallery G-17 wireless speaker is compatible with a variety of iOS devices. It can sync with any Apple device running iOS 4.3 and up, including iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touch devices. You can use AirPlay to sync these devices and stream content from iTunes on your home Wi-Fi network. It also includes an auxilary port and USB port for additional connection options, which comes in handy if you find yourself somewhere without a Wi-Fi connection. Simply connect your phone or tablet using the USB port or the output for headphones. As it does not use Bluetooth, this device is only compatible with Apple products. This speaker is very easy to setup. If you want to keep the speaker in a single spot, you can attach the optional stand or wall mount. Leave these unattached to use the soundbox as a portable speaker. To keep the black finish in pristine condition, wear a pair of gloves while you attach accessories. Klipsch includes a pair of white gloves with its speakers for this purpose. To start streaming music, enable AirPlay on your air-enabled device and connect to a Wi-Fi network. Plug in the speaker and select it on your iOS device. You are then ready to stream audio through the speakers and do not neet to install any additional apps. As the Klipsch Gallery G-17 wireless speaker connects through a Wi-Fi connection, make sure your home wireless network is in working order. Although Wi-Fi is faster and more reliable than Bluetooth, a choppy connection can still lead to choppy music. Make sure your router is in a central location and that your home theater has a strong signal. Remove any electronics that may disrupt the signal. Although the Klipsch Gallery G-17 makes a fantastic audio device, it is also a wonderful home theater accessory. Stream the audio from your iPad and connect the iPad to a compatible projector or computer monitor, or use AirPlay to connect through Apple TV. You can also use adaptors to play video through a screen.
