The Hasbro Transformers Generations Skids figure was released in 2013, eight years after the release of the First Generation figure. This action figure marks the first time Skids is based on his appearance in the "More Than Meets the Eye" IDW comic book. If you've never read this comic, a copy is packaged with the figure as an accessory. "More Than Meets the Eye #22" stars Skids along with other characters such as Ultra Magnus. This toy is 5.5 inches in height and is suitable for children ages seven and up. Adults will also love this figure thanks to its high-quality paint and sculpted detail. The Generations version of this character transforms into a futuristic hatchback car. This car features working wheels, letting you roll it across any surface. Every panel on the car lines up perfectly; there are no gaps or empty spots in this form. The character's humanoid body parts are perfectly hidden when he is in car form. In vehicle mode, all of Skids' weapons attach to the car, either on the side of the car or underneath. This Transformers product features a classic paint color scheme reflecting Skids' distinctive characteristics. The action figure features a blue paint scheme with a red stripe and red accents around the body. In addition, this Transformers character figure features additional paint detail on the face, wheel rims, and grill.
