The Optoma EX530 is a DLP projector that offers compatibility for SD and HD sources as well as multiple user features. The native aspect ratio for the Optoma projector is 4:3 with a contrast ratio of 2500:1 and a 24-bit color system, and the unit accepts PAL, NTSC, SECAM, and HD video formats. In addition, 1080i is the maximum high-definition input accepted by the unit. The DLP projector measures 11 inches wide by 3.1 inches high by 8.1 inches deep with a weight of 5.5 lbs. The Optoma EX530 comes standard with a composite port, S-video port, RGB D-sub 15-pin port, ands dual RCA jacks. A stereo mini jack output is equipped on the unit as well, and a single monaural 1-watt speaker provides audio output for the Optoma projector. A 180-watt lamp produces up to 2600 ANSI lumens of brightness for the DLP projector, and the lamp life is up to 4000 hours in standard mode or 3000 hours in Bright Mode. The Optoma projector has a throw distance of up to 32.8 feet that can produce images up to 255 inches measured diagonally.
