Midway opens the vaults to its classic coin-op library for the release of Arcade Treasures, a compilation of 22 quarter-munching hits dating back to 1981. The library, which includes titles from Williams Entertainment as well as Atari Games, offers a mix of genres. Racing games include RoadBlasters, Super Sprint, Spy Hunter, and Toobin'. Fans of classic shooters will be able to play Defender II (aka Stargate), Robotron: 2084, Blaster, Smash T.V., SiniStar, Vindicators, Gauntlet, and Satan's Hollow. Puzzle games include the medieval Rampart and the tile-sorting action of Klax. 720°, Rampage, Joust, Joust 2, Paperboy, Marble Madness, and SPLAT! round out the list of featured titles. Games are playable with one or two players, and all support analog control as an option. Also included in the compilation are creator and developer interviews as well as game histories.
