Nah! Nah! Nah...The Bugs are on the loose in Xpiral and Infogrames North America's, Beetle Buggin' for the PC. This arcade racing game is the first to feature the official Volkswagen license.
Beetle Buggin's 3D environments, artwork, and vehicle designs were created to capture the atmosphere of the '60s mod style. You start off with the standard 1960s Beetle, and as you win races and earn points, other vehicles become available, including the pre-1968 VW Beetle, the pre-1970 VW Bus, the pre-1999 VW pickup, and the 1969 VW 181 (Kubelwagen). Beetle Buggin' is also the only game to feature the 1999 New Beetle Cup model.
Including 20 original tracks, 4 bonus courses, 17 models of vehicles (over 50 styles), and 3 modes of play -- Quick Race, Championship, and Beetle Challenge -- Beetle Buggin' offers a wide variety to choose from. Whether you choose to drive the open track, at the beach or in the stadium, you will also have to deal with elements such as bright sun, rain, and nighttime conditions.
Beetle Buggin offers five events -- Cross, Speed, Monster, Jump, and Buggy -- each with unique cars that are designed for the specific challenges of the event. Cross features a dirt track stadium loaded with slopes and dunes, while the Jump track allows players to use their "nitro boosters" to attempt a huge jump. Four huge tires and a soft suspension turn a cute little Beetle into a big bad machine on the Monster track. It is here that players must navigate an obstacle-filled course, smashing up cars, and causing massive destruction -- but remember to watch the clock, it's all being timed!
Beetle Buggin' offers two- to six-player support via LAN and a split-screen mode for head-to-head game play.
