EA's popular FIFA series returns the world's favorite sport to all major video game platforms in its 2003 incarnation. This small-screen version of the popular soccer title boasts a new AI system that focuses on teamwork. As with most real-life teams, the 11 men on the field must work as one for consistent wins. Also new in FIFA Soccer 2003 is the method of ball control, which is designed to result in realistic shots and passes, encouraging player precision. The game features hundreds of teams from 16 different leagues -- literally thousands of actual soccer players, all represented by their real-life statistics. Several modes of play offer both quick pick-up games and intense club championships. Television-style presentation features highlights at the half and end of the match.
