The Alpine CDA-9855 CD Player in dash receiver is a state of the art car audio unit offering quality sound reproduction and music listening options. This model features an in dash display unit and many entertainment options, so you can listen to the radio, CD player, connect your iPod, or use a wide variety of other audio sources. The unit is easy to install when you follow the manual and easy to use. This full DIN Alpine receiver is equipped with a BioLite display with a clock that is easily read in the sunlight. The Glide Touch control system enables quick sliding between tracks, categories, menu items, and to switch from mode to mode on the display and replaces most faceplate buttons on the display. This display features a white Glide Touch strip on the front and a detachable faceplate. Customize the settings and find the perfect level of sound for you with controls for balance, fade, mute, power, subwoofer level and volume. The Alpine CDA-9855 is equipped with a CD radio tuner with a built in amplifier, 18 watts by 4 channels. The MaxTune SQ tuner features 12 FM and 6 AM presets for radio stations. If you prefer satellite radio, this model is SiriusXM satellite ready, with the optional antenna and subscription to the service. The equipment components and features on this receiver provide a quality sound system for your vehicle. The receiver is equipped with Bass Engine Pro sound control for deeper frequencies. The iPersonalize setup options allow you to customize your car audio experience and adjust the bass, equalizer and time correction. The unit has a CEA-200 compliant amplifier with amplifier link to control up to 12 external amps, preamp voltage of 4V and 3 pair of RCA outputs for front, rear and subwoofer. This model has a parametric equalizer with 5 equalizer bands, built in active crossover and high and low pass filters. Listen to your favorite music mix on the road. The Alpine CDA 9855 receiver is equipped with a built in CD player. The CD player is compatible with CDs, CD-R, CD-RW discs, and discs burned with MP3 and WMA files. In this mode, you control the music with the CD player changer controls on the Alpine Ai-Net changer. When your favorite playlist is in digital form, the Alpine CDA-9855 enables you to enjoy music from all your devices. You can connect your iPod, phone or MP3 device to the receiver to play music saved on your device. Control the music from the receiver or your iPod and know that your device is being charged, while you drive. The Alpine receiver is equipped with the Media Xpander function, which provides maximum output detail and clarity for broadcast audio and compressed files. Additional features of this unit include CD text capable, multi angle mountable, ID3 tags support, rotary encoder multi control, WMA compatible, satellite radio tuner control, and title control. The Alpine CDA-9855 can be controlled remotely, which allows your passengers to take control on longer drives. A wireless remote control is included and the unit comes with a manual.
