This animated prequel to the concurrently-running live-action television series SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH cranked the story back four years and featured the live-action Sabrina's younger sister Emily Hart providing the 12-year-old cartoon Sabrina's voice, with live-action Sabrina (Melissa Joan Hart) as both her aunts, Hilda and Zelda (played on the live-action show by Caroline Rhea and Beth Broderick). Nick Bakay furnished Sabrina's cat Salem's voice on both series. Sabrina originated in the pages of Archie Comics as a half-witch, half beautiful blonde teen, and coped with adolescence while tempted by her hereditary magical powers. Sabrina had also been a recurring character in an Archie cartoon television series in the 1960s.
