This re-release of the vintage Tamiya Wild One 2-wheel drive radio controlled buggy is a great kit for beginners and enthusiasts alike. The car requires some assembly, and once finished, it is a joy to race other hobby cars or take your model off-road on its own. The wheels, tires, lightweight chassis, and stock oil-filled shocks allow the Tamiya Wild One to handle tough terrain with ease. Assembling model cars is a fun hobby, and this 1/10 scale off-roader buggy is easy to build and fun to drive, making it a fine place to start for those new to model racing cars. Those who already enjoy the hobby recognize this vintage re-release with the same body as the 1985 Tamiya Wild One. It is a tough little vehicle made with high-quality parts and a surprising amount of power. The kit includes the ABS plastic body, 540-J brushed motor, four wheels, four tires, vinyl decals and detailed assembly instructions. In addition, the kit requires other basic Radio Control (R/C) accessories, including a battery pack, charger, two-channel radio system, batteries for the transmitter, and R/C assembly tools. You may need paint as well, however it is optional, as are the decals. The kit does not include Light Emiting Diode (LED) lights, but they are easily added, and there are plenty of other ways to customize your Tamiya Wild One. The Tamiya Wild One is a 2-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive off-road 1/10 scale vehicle with the Electronic Stability Control Emergency Program. The chassis is a durable lightweight ABS frame. It features a full independent double wishbone suspension with a bell-crank steering mechanism and plastic bushing bearings. The Wild One has a dog bone drive line with differential gearbox and an aluminum oil-filled shock damper. The gear shafts are mounted on brass brushings, and the gearbox is enclosed for protection from debris. The 540-brushed type turning motor is powerful enough to handle the Tamiya Wild One on off-road adventures. The black tires are all made from rubber and the wheel bearings are included. The two rear tires are larger with block tread, and the front tires are smaller and ribbed. The aluminum oil-filled shocks give the Wild one a smooth ride, while the tires navigate the buggy in all type of off-road conditions. It has a fixed wheelbase, track width, and shock angle, and adjustable front toe angles and ride height. The Tamiya Wild One measures 425 mm long by 225 mm wide and is 140 mm high. The wheelbase is 255mm and the gear ratio is 1:9.05. With a few additional accessories, the Tamiya Wild One could be the first R/C car build that introduces you to a new hobby. The separately required charger, batteries, and radio transmitter may be used with other radio controlled cars if you enjoy the hobby. For those who are already enthusiasts, this is a great re-release of an already popular model, and it is a great base model that can be easily customized if you want to make it your own. The model R/C car is made of high-quality components and materials and is tested for maximum durability. Anyone with an interest in model racing cars will have a good time with this re-released Tamiya Wild One.
