Big Mountain 2000 combines the sports of skiing and snowboarding on one cartridge. A choice of six riders can shred or ski down four snow-covered courses. Play modes include the single-player championship, a two-player battle, and a time attack race. Championship offers the most depth of the three, allowing players to develop their selected rider's attributes over time as they compete in a series of free ride, slalom, and giant slalom events. While Big Mountain 2000 is one of the five snowboarding games on Nintendo 64, it's only the second to feature skiing, with the first being 1998's Nagano Winter Olympics.
