Namco's gun-toting shooting series continues with Razing Storm, an enhanced remake of 2008's arcade title that supports both the Guncon 3 peripheral and PlayStation Move. As part of an elite task force, you must stop an evil warlord and his international military organization from starting a war against the United States. Key features include destructible environments and four modes of play: Arcade, Story, Online Battle, and Sentry. The arcade mode is a straightforward port of the original coin-op game, complete with drop-in and drop-out cooperative play.
The story mode offers different areas, more cover opportunities, and a new "auto look" function. The online battle mode, a first for the Time Crisis series, supports up to eight players in various cooperative and competitive scenarios. Finally, sentry mode has up to four local players working together to stop prisoners from fleeing during a riot sequence. As a special bonus, Razing Storm also includes arcade adaptations of 2005's Time Crisis 4 and 2009's Deadstorm Pirates, both of which support the Guncon 3 and PlayStation Move as well as online leaderboards.
