This is the largest amount of memory that the processor can read every second. One reason for the high benchmarks of this processor is its six cores. Each core is clocked at a frequency of 2.93 GHz or 2,930 MHz. When using Intel Turbo Boost Technology, this number can be overclocked to 3.33 GHz or 3,330 MHz. It's these high specifications that make this a great Xeon processor for PC gaming in a 64-bit system.The Xeon X5670 2.93 GHz unit features three levels of cache. In total, this Intel Xeon unit offers 12MB of Intel SmartCache. This is a type of program designed by Intel that shares cache found in the last level. This results in a fluid exchange of cache to the areas that need it the most.
