This so-called green algae machine didn't get rid of any of the algae in my tank. I'm an experienced aquarist. I think its probable that the UV light wasnt working on this. Hard to tell because the light is inside a sealed part of the unit. How would you service it? I ran it for 3 weeks before I threw in the towel. Seller was great and gave a full refund..Excellent seller all around. AA+
