Shipping was kind of lengthy & the item description was kind of misleading as its listed as new but there are no tags. Seems lightly used but it looks great & in excellent condition so I'm I'm still mostly satisfied.

Open box meant unused and comes with all accessories false listing. Missing USB and clearly it’s been used seller offer return but shipping cost as much as the purchase. We be more careful next time when sellers listed open box!

I've been a professional voice actor for ten years and I've used a variety of microphones in various studios during that time. I recently re-worked my home studio and decided to try the SM7B by SHURE. The sound quality is excellent, absolutely one of the best mics I've used. Simple, straightforward, elegant. Well worth the price paid.
NOTE: It does require a strong preamp to get a clean signal. Without a decent preamp the mic will not produce a strong, loud signal and you will likely be dissapointed. Put another way, a decent preamp is SO necessary that you should not consider this mic functional until you have both. Combined with the right preamp this thing is a monster.
I've heard that many have used the CloudLifter with great results but I run mine through a mixing board and am thrilled with the sound.
