I am going to be as polite as possible here. A 9 speed shifter has 8 distinct clicks as 9th is the bottom default gear, same as a 10 speed shifter would have 9 distinct clicks. If you do not know how something functions, learn instead of blaming others for your lack of knowledge. It functions perfectly.

excellent wear and traction.
Fantastic tires, have run 35" on my f250 for 60k and have a set of 37" on my XJ with 25k hard offroad miles and they work great. You do need to have a good tire shop balance them but it is not an issue.
