At first the item didn’t seem right for my car to the mechanic so i told him to take it out and I’ll send it back. I messaged the seller about the item and was told that i will need to use a short belt. I told the mechanic that later that night after he uninstalled it and he said he will have to charge me for having to reinstall it again because it’s not an easy job on a 99 3000gt. So a 280$ job is now costing about 500$ because of information left out of description. Wouldn’t have purchased.

This alternator fit perfect on my 1995 Formula 271. Amperage output is at 14.3 vs the old alternator which was only putting out 9.3
