Jake era un appassionato di videogiochi fin da quando era un ragazzino. Ha ottenuto la sua prima Nintendo quando aveva 7 anni e si è rotto entrambi i polsi quando ha perso la presa su un'altalena di corda di 30 piedi. Sua nonna gli ha inviato la console, quindi aveva qualcosa da fare quando tutti gli altri bambini erano fuori a giocare quell'estate. I miei primi giochi preferiti sono stati Mario e Mike Tysons Punch Out. Dopo di che è stato agganciato e di solito è stato il primo bambino nella sua zona a ottenere nuovi giochi quando sono usciti per la prima volta. Tutti gli amici di Jakes venivano a giocare insieme.
Avanti veloce 30+ anni avanti e decide di provare a venderne alcuni che aveva a casa su ebay (2023). Hanno venduto abbastanza rapidamente e questo lo ha ispirato a provare a vendere di più. Durante quel periodo lavorava a tempo pieno come Sprinkler Fitter ma nel tempo libero continuava ad acquistare giochi/console dal marketplace Facebook per poi rivenderli su ebay. Più tardi nell'aprile 2023. si trasferì con la sua famiglia a Fukuoka in Giappone e continuò a vendere solo con merce dal Giappone.
