Cartier, LV, CHANEL... sono solo alcuni dei marchi con cui ho banchettato i miei occhi da bambina. Sono cresciuto all'estero a Singapore, una società focalizzata sul lusso che mi ha gettato a capofitto innamorato dell'alta moda. Portavo i taxi dopo la scuola in negozi come LV per guardare e desiderare tutti gli oggetti che avevano in negozio. Come ragazza delle scuole medie, ovviamente non avevo i soldi per nessuno degli oggetti che sono andata a vedere dopo la scuola, ma, non li ho mai dimenticati. Ci siamo trasferiti a casa negli Stati Uniti e i miei pomeriggi a LV sono finiti. Ho iniziato HS e ho iniziato il mio primo lavoro. Ho lavorato e risparmiato per acquistare un biglietto per Singapore e ho fatto un po' di shopping. Sono entrata in tutti i negozi che visitavo da bambina; ma nulla mi ha fatto svolazzare il cuore come una volta. Così, mi sono avventurato in alcuni negozi di seconda mano e ho comprato un anello Cartier Love. Quando sono scivolato per la prima volta sull'anello, il mio cuore svolazzò e il mondo si fermò per un secondo. Ho iniziato Chicago Consignment in modo che altri uomini e donne potessero provare la stessa sensazione.
