Chi siamo

My shop is called Object Book, as its the name of my former book artists studio, which I ran at Merton Abbey Mills - the site where William Morris and Liberty used to make their textiles.

I started exploring interesting ways of using embroidery to make unusual books - one skein led to another and I now run my crafts business full time! Now based in Liverpool, I post wool and thread to crafters across the globe.

I'm proud to stock Appletons British Tapestry and Crewel Wool, which I've always had a soft spot for! I'm one of few UK suppliers of CXC thread - a cheap but high quality alternative to the leading brand.

    Just as described and very reasonably priced. The only drawback - and this might be more to do with eBay than the seller - is that I wanted 2 different colours and couldn’t quite see how to buy them together and get combined postage. Maybe I should have contacted the seller first! Still, I have no hesitation in recommending this seller

    Beautifully and neatly packed. Skeins never behave like that for me! Postage very fair. I bought 14 skeins from this seller which all arrived together. Wondering what I'm going to find to say about the other 13!!! The item arrived very quickly and I am very happy with both the items I purchased and with the seller's quick turnaround of the order. Will buy from this seller again.
