Mio padre possedeva un paio di negozi di carte da baseball/video tra la fine degli anni 80 e la metà degli anni 90. Wow! Era il sogno di un preadolescente che si avverava. Abbiamo venduto carte da baseball, magliette heavy metal, soda, caramelle, sigarette senza licenza, film noleggiati (avevamo la più grande selezione di horror in circolazione) e noleggiato videogiochi (anche Gameboy e TurboGrafx). Naturalmente, ho dovuto prima provare tutti i giochi e guardare tutti i film il giorno in cui sono usciti. Immagina un nastro VHS usato per costare circa $ 65! Beh, pensavo di ereditare i negozi e vivere il resto della mia vita in un paese da sogno della cultura pop. LOL! Sono diventata insegnante, un lavoro che amo, e penso a quei ricordi del negozio quasi quotidianamente. Avere questo piccolo negozio eBay aiuta a far luce in quei giorni d'oro.
