  Book was shipped insanely fast like Amazon! It was packaged very nicely, bubble wrapped twice, and even wrapped in a plastic sleeve! I appreciate the extra care the seller showed here, and it means a lot since there is a lot of dings when it comes to shipping packages and stuff. It also came exactly as it was shown in the pictures. As a sucker for Greco-Roman history, this was a great find for a great price! Awesome seller, hands down!

  Book in perfectly described condition. Top shelf secure packaging with book within its own plastic bag, fit snugly with other books from this order among bubble wrap and packing paper.   "Dearly Departed Books" is DEFINITELY going on my list of FAVORITE sellers! The book I bought from them came exactly as described; it was packaged meticulously, wrapped in both plastic AND in cardboard to protect the item — which it did, by the way. It was shipped promptly, and arrived right on time. And although it was slightly more expensive than some of the others on offer at the time — it was worth it!!! It's perfect. Value still means something, at least to me. Thank you! 🌹

  Excellent experience with this seller! Item as described and packaged very securely--it was a book and was placed between two pieces of cardboard inside a padded envelope--so care and attention were given to being sure the item wasn't damaged while shipping. Would purchase from this seller again.

  The Lord of Samarcand was rated like new and is. The rare Bison book (only 470-530 released) is a HB/Fine , DJ/Fine copy. The price was excellent and equated to the rarity of this book. Communication was excellent with seller responding quickly to purchase offer and note on shipping. Protection was above and beyond, book in plastic, boarded and in another plastic sleeve, bubble wrapped and in a padded package. Shipping "Fast as Flash" seller and mail. Departed receives my "Golden Buzzer rating".
