Ubisoft's Racquet Sports serves up family friendly motion-controlled versions of five games: traditional tennis, squash, badminton, ping-pong, and beach tennis. The game's controls are designed to be intuitive and easy to perform, using the Wii Remote controller as a racquet handle, and the game is compatible with the Wii MotionPlus add-on for more accurate control. Racquet Sports can also be played using no handheld controller at all, instead using an optional Wii-compatible camera accessory (sold separately) that allows the computer to recognize the player's real-life arm movements and translate them to in-game swings. The game includes six main modes, including an accessible "Party" mode for fun-oriented group play, and a "Championship" mode for more serious competition. Matches can take place in more than 40 different locations, including traditional courts and arenas as well as fantasy locations such as a palace, high-rise penthouse apartment, or an underwater coral reef. As many as four can play together in a split-screen multiplayer mode.
