With a background in landscape design, Cédric Pollet has been a professional botanical photographer since 2003. He is the author of two photographic books on tree bark, both of which were awarded the Redouté Prix Artistique and the first of which was published by Frances Lincoln as Bark: An Intimate Look at the World's Trees. He lives in Fréjus in the south east of France. Book jacket.
