HBO's wildly successful TALES FROM THE CRYPT series is back with this new "thrill-ogy of terror," hosted by the sardonic Crypt Keeper. The first story, DEAD RIGHT follows a money-hungry secretary, Cathy (Demi Moore), who grudgingly visits a psychic, only to learn that the woman's predictions actually become true. When she marries the disgusting, overweight Charlie (Jeffrey Tambor) with the hopes of earning a massive inheritance, things take a turn for the bitterly ironic. Arnold Schwarzenegger's THE SWITCH is a darkly comic fable about Carlton (William Hickey), an aging millionaire who desperately wants to win the love of Linda (Kelly Preston). But when she assures him that his decrepit features would never let her love him, he visits a mysterious doctor who agrees to perform a dangerous surgery, teaching him a very valuable lesson in the process. Walter Hill's CUTTING CARDS follows two rival gamblers, Reno Crebis (Lance Henriksen) and Sam Forney (Kevin Tighe), whose hatred for each other lands them in a dangerous game of cut poker, where a losing hand means literally that. Executive produced by Hill, Richard Donner, Joel Silver, Robert Zemeckis, and David Giler, this collection provides more gruesomely comic tales for fans of the popular TALES FROM THE CRYPT series.
