The camera connects to a Mac via a FireWire connection, ensuring that latency and stuttering are non-issues. Housed in an all-aluminum body, the camera is slick while the 0.25-inch CCD sensor backs up its looks. The sensor has an F/2.8 aperture lens that is coupled with a resolution of 640x480. This sensor delivers smooth frame rates when video recording. It's also convenient for phone calls. You can twist the outer ring of the cylindrical body to close the shutter with a click for additional privacy. It comes with a transparent carrying case, a mounting bracket, and elegant connections. This device is an excellent choice when you consider all of its features. Alongside a sensitive microphone and impeccable chat and movie integration, the Apple iSight perfectly complements any iMac. If you are on a Mac computer, the iChat AV will automatically launch when you plug in iSight for added convenience.
