Ubi Soft's popular limbless hero makes his debut on the Game Boy Advance in a game that takes players back to the character's origins. This launch title for Nintendo's 32-bit handheld is based directly on the original Rayman game for the PlayStation. The nasty Mister Dark is up to no good and the world needs a hero to keep the little Electoons free from his evil spell.
The game's namesake makes his way through specially enhanced versions of the creative, colorful, game worlds that first led him to stardom in his original adventure. Players guide Rayman through several platform levels set in surreal environments, helping him to avoid danger and collect the power-ups that augment his portfolio of clever tricks and special abilities. Two GBA Rayman players can compete against one another in a special head-to-head mode using a link cable.
