From the time Lorenzo Lorraine Langstroth was a little boy in the early 1800s, he was curious about bugs, insects and small critters. Despite obstacles, Lorenzo continued to explore and study until this interest focused on the honey bee. He wondered why honey bees always built their honey comb every which-way.
