He's Don Quixote on a red bicycle...... When Dorset postman Clive Peacock is forced into early retirement, the years ahead look bleak. As he makes his final collection from the postbox in the small seaside town where he lives, he decides to deliver it himself, by hand, no matter the destination. Mounting his trusty bicycle, he sets off on what proves to be an odyssey of self-discovery. Inspired by the stories of the Pony Express, Clive cycles the length of Britain over a summer determined to deliver all the letters in his bag. A chase begins as the Police become involved. Then when the press and TV pick up the story, Clive's bizarre journey is turned into a crusade and he becomes a most unlikely hero.
