It is true that one author can often coordinate a more unified theme to a textbook, but such unity is usually forced, because the author simply doesn't know enough about all the fields he/she is covering. The use of five experts, all working together at one university makes for a powerful cohesive text that takes account of the complexity of each area., [The Comparative Essays] all do a great job of integrating the world, of tying together strands from different part of the world and different disciplines. If you want students to see connections, as I do, these essays do it as well as I have ever seen. An EXCELLENT feature.

I guess they were unable to locate the item? Don't know but they sent a refund quickly that's good enough for me. Not many things worse than a customer making a small purchase and getting pissed and lowering a seller's ranking just because they're put out! It's hard to sell anything online with mean spirited customers, so I try to be one of the good ones. Thanks
