I found my 26yo GBC in a drower with old batteries that drained all on pcb. It was dead. No turn on signal.
After cleaning and checking everything, the power regulator was dead on 5v.
I see this power board for 5v. It gave me some hope.
The item arrived fast and as discribed. It is very easy to install. Just need to cut the 5v leg of the original power regulator and install this new. It gave a new life to my 26yo GBC!

Shipping was very fast. Did the board do what it claimed? I dunno maybe, maybe not. It definitely doesn’t not work. Ran it with oem power regulator and solo. Couldn’t tell a difference in the noise feedback… maybe quieter than an ips screen with a stock regulator. In the end I have a clear case so I soldered the oem one back in for the looks and have the snake oil board on the back. Changing the capacitors was definitely worth it though

Would highly recommended the clean power regulator to anyone looking at using a flash cart otherwise you don’t really need this.
Tiny bit fiddly to solder but I have a Lipo rechargeable battery on one side so had to cut off the old regulator to solder this on the other side
Can definitely recommend this and if your not sure always ASK or research online

the clean juice battery kit for my sega gg is great but.. it costed me 100+€ total to get it to Croatia.. the order said it is going to be shipped via fedex but it came via dhl, and i got a sms message saying i have to pay like 30€ to dhl.. i thought it was a scam and reached to seller with a message on ebay to ask is it a scam or what, but there was no answer from the seller unfortunately so yeah, expencive and risky buy but the product turned out to be excellent.
