Welcome to the Kernoozers Gallery [19th century Victorian slang for connoisseurs]. For the kernoozer who wants something out of the ordinary. Established in 2001, and members of the PBFA, we specialise in rare books, vintage photographs, manuscripts, original art and illustrations, and an eclectic mix of curiosities. Everything in our gallery has a story - and a price. Our experienced pickers search far and wide to bring you interesting items. We ship worldwide and can communicate in a variety of different languages. Enjoy your kernoozing... and please feel free to get in touch should any queries arise.
 
Payment - Please make payment within 5 working days of end of auction or buy-it-now date.
 
Customs charges/duties - any import customs charges and duties payable by local country tax offices are the responsibility of the purchaser. Our policy is to declare an item's full value on customs documentation.
 
Manuscript material - a licence may be required to export manuscript material such as letters and documents outside of the UK. We can handle all aspects of this process for you free of charge, but please note that licences can take from 5 to 25 days to be issued.
 
Payment types - We accept Paypal as standard from customers worldwide. Other methods - including direct bank transfer or cheque - are available for UK purchasers.
 
Shipping - All items are packed very solidly and with the greatest care. Our carriers of choice are Royal Mail for smaller and less valuable items, and UPS for heavier and more valuable items. Please see item description for precise cost. In all cases, tracking and insurance is included in the quoted shipping price.
 
Returns - items bought using buy-it-now can be returned within 14 days of receipt for a full refund including initial postage. Return postage payable by purchaser. Goods returned at customer's own risk, so an insured / trackable shipping method is recommended. For extra peace of mind, Paypal's own payment protection is free to most buyers.

    The item arrived in a timely manner in the condition that the seller described. The (rather fragile) item was well packed and secure.
