In the 2D Role Playing Game Gorasul: The Legacy of the Dragon, you take the role of the dark, resurrected hero Roszondas in a quest to regain his lost powers and deliver the world from the clutches of evil demons threatening to end or enslave all human life. Six class choices are available, including warrior, priest, magician, scout (woodsman), Judge of the Swords (sword bearer), or banisher, each with unique abilities and attributes.
In a slightly different twist from most RPGs, not only does the main character improve his skills and attributes through experience, but his main weapon (one of seven) also has a personality with traits and adjustable attributes. Each weapon has a designated feared and hated opponent, name, and five changing values for accuracy, courage, intelligence, durability and ego. In addition to the normal attributes of strength, dexterity, intelligence, constitution, and charisma, Roszondas also has dynamic dragon skills (fear, strength, breath, eye, attack, and defense).
Raised by the dragon Craken since he was an infant, Roszondas absorbed the magical breath of the beast, but was killed while fighting the hordes of evil demons besieging Gorasul. Now, ten years later and resurrected by the demigod Hedral, Roszondas plies his trade with rings, amulets, chains, armor, clothing, potions, weapons and six schools of magic (battle, conjuring, enchantment, necromancy, protection and tricks) in an effort to regain his powers and turn chaos into peace.
