Dirt to Daytona expands upon the groundwork established in NASCAR Heat 2002 by incorporating a new Career Mode where players climb the ladder from a rookie racing on lowly dirt tracks to a pro competing in the prestigious NASCAR Winston Cup. In total, each career spans four distinct NASCAR leagues, including the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Winning races not only improves a player's standings but also increases the likelihood of attaining a sponsorship. The extra money earned from sponsors can be used to upgrade one of 100 different vehicle parts. <br><br>In addition to the Career Mode, players can embark on a Single Race, Season, Beat the Heat, Head-to-Head, and Pro Trainer. Thirty-one tracks are included as players prepare to race amidst a full 43-car field. The damage model has been enhanced from the previous game, allowing for more realistic tire rubbing, collisions (even 20-car pileups), and sparks while jostling for first place. Over 20 minutes of video footage is included as well as tips from 25 pros in the Pro Trainer mode, where players learn from the experts on how to approach a specific track. Complete career statistics and season progress can be saved to a memory card accessory.

    Seller’s communication was great. Am happy with my purchase now after the fact. Seller mistakenly sent me the wrong game originally and I paid for shipping the wrong item back. Shipping was the same price as the item I purchased. I was never reimbursed even though it was seller’s mistake in first place. So I ended up paying double for what was the seller’s mistake.
