Ultra-prolific cult director Jess Franco lends his particular talent for exploitative strangeness to the jungle adventure DIAMONDS OF KILIMANDJARO. Katja Bienert stars as Diana, whose plane crashed deep in the African wilderness when she was a child. In the intervening years, she has been worshipped as a white goddess by the cannibals there. Meanwhile, her mother has finally gathered an expeditionary force to travel into the jungle and find her, but during their search they encounter many dangers, not the least of which is the cannibal tribe eager to keep its goddess for themselves. DIAMONDS OF KILIMANDJARO features the nudity and lack of political correctness that have made Franco's films famous.
