Devoted to the study of art and architecture, American author MARIANA GRISWOLD VAN RENSSELAER (1851-1934) was born in New York City and was an honorary member of the American Institute of Architects. I am generally happy with the transaction. I got the book I wanted at a good price. I think it would have been fairer to describe the conditin of the item as 'good' rather than 'very good', however. There were a few pen marks in the book for example/
