They did ship it more cheaply as I requested and so the total cost was less and they refunded the difference between the expedited shipping. The description of an excellent condition sauce bowl might’ve been misleading. There was some staining underneath the glaze. The picture did show that upon looking at it later. But it was angled in a way that it appeared to be a shadow. Oh well. I’m very happy with it anyway and I’m extremely happy with the seller. In no way did I position the bowl to make edge staining look like a shadow. I positioned the bowl to show the rust-colored edge staining to its best advantage. I say in all of my listings that photographs are an important part of the description and that buyers should ask questions about anything that might bother them.
