GREAT PLIERS for the price, Well Made. Locking.
I was very surprised how well made these were. I expected some flimsy made chinese product that would end up tearing up after a few uses. But they are very sturdy and stout. Not sure how long they will last, I've only used them a couple of times but they are SUPER Handy. Trying to get radiator hose clamps off can be a nightmare when they are in a tight spot deep in an engine compartment and you cant get a pair of pliers down in there and open them up wide enough to grab the clamp then slide it off. My pliers always slip off and back to square 1. With these they lock with each click so you can actually let go of the pliers and use both hands to work the clamp off, sometimes u need to pry the clamp and the locking allows you both hands to wiggle it off. Great tool, Time Saver. Knuckle saver. Only thing I wish I had done is bought the pair that is double sided so that it will work with more sizes of clamps (smaller clamps). I didn't know they made them with double sided clamping mechanism or I would have bought them. I found one set that has 3 interchangeable clamp heads, but they were too expensive for me, if I wrenched for a living tho I would own a set. These will do for me.
