A good lens for a great camera

I collect the Contarex system, and i'm looking at the different versions of the same kind of lens. This is a good lens, in the tradiction of Zeiss; it was also made in a "blitz" version, and it is to compare with the more modern Distagon f/2 35mm.

The Contarex dream for ever

I have got my first Contarex camera (a Cyclope) in 1968, when I was a student of architecture in the University of Florence. In many years of use of the Conterex system (I have many different bodies and lenses) I have experimented the absolute quality of the product of the dream Zeiss: old technology, at moment, but a fantastic system out of time, for ever. By the way, I'm using, with satisfaction, my lenses on a E Olympus camera: new life but... only telelenses for the dimension of 3/4 standard(2x). But no matter for wide angle: I've my Curtagon PC, and two Distagon 25 and 18 mm, the Biogon 21, and my fantastic Hologon. A little problem, but an other fine experience: film, scanner and Photoshop. It is interesting to be an old man: many years, a lot of experiences! Long life to Contarex!
