Good quality DI box, excellent for the price
Small in size and price, but great for sound and build quality (it will sure stand a long time of hard stage life, since it is all solid metal).
I used a HK red box that didn t sound so good and costed three times more.
It sounds very good between power amp and speaker, but it performs really well after a preamp or a gain pedal; it just delivers a very natural tone. Of course you need some minor adjustment to your global eq.
The only feature i miss and wish it had is a headphone output, that really could lift its rating near to the perfection, in my modest opinion.

Totally disappointed
The idea of a flat and flexible patch cable is excellent and so is the gold plated flat connector. Unfortunately the sound quality is horrible. The tone loss is unacceptable and the sound comes out of the amp like you have a courtain on the speaker.
I swapped back to my old patch cables and noticed an immediate sound improvement. Sorry, but tone is the main task of any musical component and the main goal for s working musician.

Perfect for old tele
Perfect for any vintage looking tele. The colour is very nice and the tip fits like a glove to Oak grigsby switch as well as import kind, that are thinner.
