I've just finished this beautiful, thrilling, moving novel and the only flaw I can find is that is too short.

"POOR MISS FINCH"
I've been reading all Wilkie Collins' novels and I finished this one yesterday. Maybe it could not be one of this author's masterpieces as "The woman in white" or "Armadale", but I recommend it as an agreable and moving reading.
Collins is best known for his mystery novels: "Poor Miss Finch" is not one of them, but is catchy and full of suspence.
This story will teach you that your inner sight is a better judge than your eyes' sight.
I don't think that, once started, someone could leave this novel 'til the end.
Good reading!

Wyllard's Weird
"Wyllard's Weird" is a sensation novel by Mary Elizabeth Braddon, the queen of this kind of literary genre. The plot is based on a mystery about the dead of a young lady fallen down from a train.
Did she die by accident or there was a murderer among the passengers?
Two of them are Julian Wyllard, a rich business man, and his wife's cousin Bothwell, an idle former officer of the army.
There's an inquest and Bothwell refuse to reveal why he was on the train and gossips start spreading the voice that he is the unidentified girl's murderer.
Bothwell reputation is in danger and so Mrs Wyllard asks the Coroner to do anything to find the real culprit.
The story is very catchy and starts well. Then there are some parts very slow and a little bit boring.
But the last chapters are so full of twists that worthwhile all the novel.
