Da giovane mi è stato detto che avrei dovuto usare un bastone da passeggio occasionalmente. (Ero mortificato, ero di mezza età e mi sentivo come se usare un bastone fosse per "anziani") e anche ora la maggior parte delle persone usa un bastone solo quando lo hanno fatto anche loro!
Non mi piacevano molto quelli in metallo che si ripiegano, odiavo il rumore che facevano quando camminavano, sbattevano e squillavano.
Poi ne ho scoperto uno vecchio in legno nel mio garage. Non ha attirato l'attenzione a causa del rumore, tuttavia ho odiato il suo aspetto. Sentivo anche di potermi fidare di una canna di legno, per qualche motivo sembrava più robusta e più forte.
Così sono andato a lavorarci, glitter, vernice auto lacca tutto quello che potevo trovare, e ho creato qualcosa di bello.
Ora le mie canne sono un "accessorio moda" attirano l'attenzione in un modo di cui sono orgoglioso, a volte le uso anche quando non ne ho bisogno :) È come avere un amico fidato al mio fianco.
Sono belli, robusti e possono essere utilizzati sotto il sole e la pioggia.
Amo i miei bastoncini da passeggio e voglio che tutti si sentano allo stesso modo.
