Welcome to Uppity Goat Books!

This old Goat is continually stocking this store with an eclectic range of books, mainly out-of-print non-fiction. Australian publications are one of my specialties, along with natural history, the arts, social sciences, earth sciences, history, agriculture, crafts, children's non-fiction, and much more.

All of my books are posted in sturdy packaging, ensuring that your items arrive safely in their advertised condition. I am always happy to combine postage for multiple purchases, but unfortunately I can't offer the pick-up option, as (like many goats) I live on a rural property.

    An excellent online shopping experience! Eliza at Uppity Goat Books advised me of the day my purchase would be posted and it has arrived safely and a day earlier than expected. The book is as described but looks brand new, was beautifully wrapped and sent in a padded bag. This purchase represents fantastic value for money, I am extremely happy and I wish to sincerely thank Uppity Goat Books, a great business I highly recommend.

    My book arrived promptly, in fact and it turned up sooner than expected. As described on the website, even better. It was well packaged, in much better condition than as described on the site. The dust jacket is in excellent condition, as is the rest of the book - clean pages, no rips/tears; near new condition. Great value for money. So glad to have this wonderful book back in my collection. I can recommend this seller, if they take as much care with all their books as they have with this one.

    Beautiful book as described. In used condition, but happy none the less, as it was advertised as such. Great value for the money asked, and well packed for postage, which was straight forward and relatively quick. Great seller - thank you!

    Uppity Goat Books were very easy to liaise with. Great value for a second-hand book, which was in even better condition than expected and posted promptly. Purchase was also wrapped within the postage packaging, which was appreciated. Would happily purchase from again.
