  shipped fast. packaging ok AND not ok. typewriter well wrapped (moving parts & whole object) in self-adhesive tape and bubble wrap. the wrapped package came in good hard-case box, BUT was not fastened/secured inside that substantially-larger-than-object shipping box, allowing it to bang about during voyage. 1 of 4 100-year old adjustable feet disintegrated during voyage. object otherwise as described. not yet tested (xmas present). no reason to think there is any issue. good value. overall ok.
