I've been collecting vintage and antiques for more than 50 years. My first purchase was a wagon full of empty picture frames that I picked up at the neighbors rummage sale. Then I went to auctions with my grandpa, and junk shops with my dad, and antique shops with my mom. In high school it was natural for me to go to a flea market in the country, rather than the football game in town. Soon I started selling in my own booths at craft shows where I painted on some of the old things I purchased at those flea markets. An old crooked board became a beautiful piece for above a mantel. A broken down dresser turned into a valued piece of painted furniture to become a family heirloom in decades to come. I collected and sold and collected some more until I knew I had to downsize. And now, here I am with these treasures in my eBay store. Wow, what an adventure I'm about to have. Put my store in favorites and visit often. I have thousands of things still in storage that are looking for new homes.
